Elskling now lives in the New Forest with Jill and Hugh and has been renamed Sabre.  We believe he is the only Norwegian Forest Cat in UK to live with a Norwegian Buhund, who is called Magnus.  Sabre is definitely at ease with his Scandinavian roots.
He goes out on his harness for regular walks in the garden and has his eye on climbing some of the larger trees in the wooded area!

Eclipse  - Black and white male - 29/7/09

Emir  - Brown tabby and white male - 29/7/09

Emir is the latest addition to the Lawrence family in Reading and lives with Norwegian Forest cats Nordligdrom Catherine and Rocket and Indie, the Russian Blue.  I get to see this feline household quite often and they regularly attend shows.  Emir is the baby of the family and absolutely adores big brother Rocket and likes to be around him at all times.  He does tend to wind up his feline sisters by pinching their favourite sleeping spots or launching himself in their direction when they are taking a nap, much to their disapproval!!  He has an easy going nature, not phased by much and is very indulged.

Best friends and brothers, Filigree and Fe live with Cynthia and her family, two other cats, a huge Newfoundland dog and some Couchin hens, in South Oxfordshire.  They are very lucky to live on a country estate, so have lots of safe space to hunt, climb trees and play about in. They are growing up in to lovely cats and it gives me great pleasure to visit them and receive regular updates and pictures from their owner.

Fledermaus and Fjord – Brown tabby males – 1/8/09

All of Cosima and Idris’s kittens look very like their Mum and these two brothers are no exception, although Fledermaus is developing a red sheen to his coat.  These are one of the few pictures their owners have managed to take of them as they are forever on the go and don’t stay still for very long!  They live in Hertfordshire, in a family with two teenage boys.

Foss – Brown tabby male – 1/8/09

Foss is now called Merlin and lives with a slightly older 'Cleasanta' red, male, NFC kitten, in Bedfordshire.  His owner Paula tells me that he loves the outdoor life and will play in the garden, even if it is pouring with rain.  Merlin was the only kitten in the litter to have classic tabby markings and his coat has a very attractive marbled look about it.

March 2010 – Just a few days after I received these pictures of Merlin, I heard from Paula that he ran out into the road in front of their house and was instantly killed by a passing car.  They live in a very quiet area and it was unexpected.
