Haakon (male brown tabby)
A short time after the kittens were born, the sire, Hoejmarken’s Goliath, very sadly died. His son Haakon is very like his dad in many ways and he has gone to live with Barney and Vera, the breeders of my first Norwegian Forest Cats. He is maturing into a beautiful, large boy and it gives me great pleasure to watch him grow up and see him often.

Haakon has produced splendid results at shows and as a kitten achieved –
7 x Excellent One certificates, 3 x Best in Variety, 4 x Nominations, 1 x Best in Show
As an adult, in summer 2008 he became a Champion. He has been nominated and awarded best in show and I’m sure I will be updating this page with his achievements.

Blog (male black and white)
Blog (Renamed Nox) went to live with litter mate Bergen in Surrey. He was tragically killed in a road traffic accident round about his first birthday and is missed by his family and brother, Bergen.

Baileys (male cream tabby)
Has successfully worked his charms on Lisa and her family of Norwegian Forest Cats and is living in Caversham, Berkshire.

Bergen (male brown tabby)
Although Bergen has grown into a very large boy now he still likes nothing better than rolling on his back, legs akimbo to have his tummy rubbed at his home in Surrey.

Bliss (female tortie tabby and white)
Bliss, now renamed Maja, was a special wedding present from Ian to Ulrika and lives with litter mate Evig, at their home in Berkshire. As Ian is a work colleague, I get to hear about their antics very often. She is a typical tortie and has a strong opinion on life, like her sister Applique (from the same 2006 mating) and her mother, who still reside with me! She has been shown a couple of times and did really well, but perhaps didn’t enjoy the experience too much, so stays at home now. She is a very nice example of a female Norwegian Forest Cat.

Imperial Champion Coscathas Leo and Nordligdrom Astrid

Congratulations to Mark and Karen Kestle, Hants, for breeding the first Norwegian Forest Male Cat to achieve this prestigious GCCF title.

Calzoni (male brown tabby and white)
Calzoni was a surprise birthday present for Mike, from Louise and their daughter who live in Ealing, London. He also shares his home with three small dogs and enjoys chasing them and tolerates their excitable games. Now renamed Leon, he loves being groomed and being carried about like a baby even though he is a large cat now.

Cosima (female brown tabby)
The last born kitten from Astrid’s litter was the naughtiest of all of them and still is. She lives with us and we wonder if this will change when the 2008 kittens arrive and she will become more grown up and responsible. She has a super nature and has been easy to show, as she enjoys a fuss being made of her. We plan to have kittens from her one day, when she is older.

Commodore (male brown tabby)
Commodore is very lucky to be living with Chris, Kirstin and another male Norwegian Forest Cat of his own age in Middx, UK. Now called Elwood, his owners tell me that he is very clever at determining how to get the cat treats out of the drawer and is chief bug exterminator in their home! Another large cat with a lovely nature, he has developed a spotted coat rather than tabby stripes.

Evig (male brown tabby)
I have a soft spot for Evig, who is now called Nisse by Ian and Ulrika, and living with Nordligdrom Bliss, in Berkshire. Always relaxed and laid back, he was slow to be weaned as a kitten and I used to get up at 5.30 am in the mornings to top him up with extra food, before going to work. Now he is a very nice large cat and looks more like his dad every time I see him. He was shown as a kitten and did well but got a bit phased out when shown again as a neuter adult, with so many other unknown cats around him, which was a great pity.
